How to activate global entry card
Here are the steps on how to activate your Global Entry card:
1. Receive Your Card:
- After completing your interview and being approved for Global Entry, you’ll receive your card in the mail within 1-2 weeks.
2. Log in to Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) Dashboard:
- Visit the TTP website: http://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/: http://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/
- Sign in using your application ID and password (found in your application confirmation email).
3. Navigate to Program Memberships:
- Locate the “Program Memberships” section on your dashboard.
4. Click “Activate Membership Card”:
- Under the Global Entry section, find the “Activate Membership Card” button and click it.
5. Enter Card Information:
- Enter the PASSID and security code printed on the back of your card.
- Double-check for accuracy to ensure successful activation.
6. Confirm Activation:
- You’ll receive a confirmation message on the screen indicating successful activation.
Additional Information:
- Activation Deadline: Activate your card within 30 days of receipt to utilize it at Trusted Traveler kiosks.
- No Online Activation for Minors: Parents or guardians must activate cards for children under 18 by calling the CBP Information Center at 1-877-227-5511.
